Hungarian STEM Platform

The first steps towards the establishment of a Hungarian STEM platform have been taken by the Ministry of Human Capacities in cooperation with Óbuda University – lead partner in the EU STEM Coalition. By the establishment of a STEM platform, the ministry aims to create an advisory body which will coordinate the development of education programmes in the fields of technology, mathematics and science.

With the creation of a STEM platform, the Hungarian government aims to boost the number of STEM graduates (currently 24,47% of all graduates) in order to live up to the high demand for STEM competences in the labour market.
