Possible Danish Technology Pact announced by Danish PM
Danish Prime Minister, Mr. Lars Løkke Rasmussen, announced recently that the Danish government will initiate talks about a possible Danish version of the Dutch Technology Pact just after summer. The talks will include public and private stakeholders as well as the Minister for Business and Growth, the Minister for Children, Education and Gender Equality and the Minister for Higher Education and Science.
The idea for a Danish Technology Pact was initiated by a group from the Confederation of Danish Industry, Danish Metalworker’s Union, the Danish Society of Engineers and the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences. The group visited the Netherlands in 2015 together with Astra - the Danish National STEM Education Centre.
