EU Code Week returns from 10 to 25 October 2026, inviting schools, educators, families, companies and community organisations to organise and participate in activities focused on coding and digital creativity.
The Europe-wide initiative aims to make programming and computational thinking more accessible through practical and inclusive activities. Participants can organise classroom sessions, coding clubs, robotics challenges, workshops, unplugged activities, technology career talks and other local events.
EU Code Week helps learners understand how digital technologies work while developing creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Organisers can register their activities on the European Code Week map and access teaching materials, training resources and practical guidance through the initiative’s website.
An official online launch event will take place on 12 October, bringing together educators, policymakers and digital skills organisations from across Europe.
