Roundtable: Exploring the future of work

Digitalisation across all industries has created major disruption to the way companies manage their business. Change is on an unprecedented scale and is happening faster than any previous transformation. These changes have deep implications for the systems to skill the workforce, as well as management of a workforce with greater diversity, changing employment patterns, and longer careers. The role of HR is critical to the success of new business models, and most companies are implementing major changes, but there are many gaps in knowledge and systems. Therefore, CSR Europe and IBM are inviting top high-level HR Leaders to discuss the Future of Work and the role of HR in a roundtable discussion on 15 January 2020, in Brussels.

The aim of this meeting is to:

• Bring authentic industry insight and experience and provide thought leadership to shape the campaign focus. 
• Engage senior stakeholders in government, industry associations and influential organisations, to promote collaboration on the key challenges and accelerate change
• Share and evaluate best practices that will advance the management of the system changes that are critical for Europe
