Girls Go Circular Evolves into Girls Go STEM
A New Phase for STEM Education in Europe
Girls Go Circular will expand and relaunch as Girls Go STEM, a broader STEAM-oriented programme announced on the initiative’s official LinkedIn channel and during the EIT Education & Skills Days in Brussels on 16 October 2025.
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) confirmed the evolution in its official communications, highlighting that the new programme will build on the achievements of Girls Go Circular while widening its focus to include the full spectrum of STEM disciplines, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
Between 2026 and 2028, Girls Go STEM aims to train 100,000 schoolgirls across Europe, contributing to the European Union’s long-term goal of engaging one million women and girls in STEM education by 2028.
