On September 30, the EU STEM Coalition's General Assembly took place in virtual format. The meeting was opened by European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, who repeated her support for the EU STEM Coalition network following its inclusion in the European Commission's 'Digital Education Action Plan (DEAP)' and 'Communication on Achieving the European Education Area by 2025'.
Commissioner Gabriel emphasised that "It is clear that the EU STEM Coalition and the European Commission need to continue to work together. The EU STEM Coalition plays a key role in bringing stakeholders together from within and outside academia, and we cannot go without your voice and your work."
