As part of the preparation of the OECD's Skills Strategy Implementation Guidance for Portugal-report, the OECD organised a special workshop focused on the adult-learning system. The EU STEM Coalition was requested to give a presentation on some approaches implemented in the network.

Objective of the meeting: 

To provide an overview of the Dutch Technology Pact approach, and its transferability to other national contexts using Denmark as a case study. The presentation also covered the EU STEM Coalition and it's role in the adoption of this model.

Description: 

As part of the preparation of the OECD's Skills Strategy Implementation Guidance for Portugal-report, the OECD organised a special workshop focused on the adult-learning system. The EU STEM Coalition was requested to give a presentation on some approaches implemented in the network with specific focus on the Technology Pact approach. The meeting included several national aspects. 

 

A networking dinner with the rerpesentative of the EU STEM Coalition was organised and attended by Mr. Tiago Brandao Rodrigues (Minister of Education of Portugal), Ms. Montserrat Gomendio (Deputy-Director of the OECD Directorate of Education and Skills) and Ms. Ana Claudia Valente, Vice-President of the ANQEP.
